By the time you read this, Donald Trump will be the president-elect of the United States. Also, if you’re reading this, the world didn’t end. So, there’s that to be proud of. For episode 34 of Beer & Bros., Lyle and I decided to do one last pre-election talk. We also chatted about the results as they were coming in. Have a listen. I really believe this is one of our better discussions.
We touched on a number of topics this time around. The first was the right’s insistence, early on, that Clinton was unwell and as a result, not fit to lead. Citing her near collapse at the van leaving an event and aides on either side of her helping her up the stairs.
Do you think a candidate’s health should factor into their ability to hold office? Lyle and I differed a bit in our opinions here.
Trump’s great wall was also a topic of conversation. Lyle brought up the Great Wall of China, excuse me Gy-nA. How was this wall, built more than 2,000 years ago, so effective, yet we can’t build a wall to keep out illegal immigrants?
Wikileaks emails… these played a major role in the campaign. As did the Project Veritas videos highlighting the DNC’s practices.
Another topic we covered was politicians campaigning for their party’s candidate. This is a waste of taxpayer money in both of our opinion. To get the full details of our disgust, listen to this episode. Click play. Let us know what you think, and thanks for tuning in.
