BREAKING NEWS: New $1,300 Chromebook – Audio Clip (Video)

With a starting price of $1,300, the new Chromebook Pixel is in sharp contrast to the strategy of cheap, light and portable that all previous Chromebooks followed. Google says the new touch-enabled Chromebook has the highest pixel density of any laptop, 239 pixels per inch (PPI). It has a 13 inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,700. Other specs: Intel Core i5 processor, 32gb solid-state memory and 1tb of free Google Drive space. An LTE version The Chromebook Pixel is available for purchase right now through the Play Store (US/UK only at this point).

A rumor this week has the tech world buzzing. Google might soon join competitors Apple and Microsoft in the retail store space. 9to5Google.com cites an extremely reliable source as saying Google stores are just around the corner. Hundreds of Best Buy stores already feature small Google stores that promote Chromebooks.

2. ’The Internship’ Movie Filmed On Location At GoogleBest Place To Intern
Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson star in a new film about two 40 year old guys who intern at Google. The movie was shot on location at Google’s Mountain View HQ. The trailer was released recently and the movie will hit theaters in June 2013.

Google has also been named the best place to intern for the second year in a row.

3. NFL Stadiums Being Mapped, Colts Starting
Google is adding NFL stadiums to the list of awesome locations that have been charted by Google Maps. The Indianapolis Colts’ Lucas Oil Stadium has already been mapped. Users can search for “Lucas Oil Stadium” on Google Maps and tour the Colts’ locker room and luxury suites and walk on the field.

4. New Google Glass Video/InfoHow to buy Glass
Google has released a new Google Glass product video. The promo shows Google’s augmented reality glasses in a variety of uses and features a simpler UI than we’ve seen in the past. A handpicked group of people who use the hashtag #ifihadglass on Twitter or Google+ will be allowed to purchase Google Glass for the price of $1,500. No general public release date has been announced.

5. Vic Gundotra Promises “Insanely great camera”
Vic Gundotra responded to a question on Google+ this week and said the next Nexus phone will feature an “insanely great camera.”

Fantastic show guys! One of the best ever, IMHO. You guys had great discussions and nice back and forth conversation on each topic. Maybe you should do more shows w/o guests. :) I really enjoyed it.
